Some people plan their route carefully before the trip, others decide on the next day's plans as they go. With a camper your bed, kitchen and other comforts are always with you, so you can change the route during the trip too.
Check the rules in the countries you will pass through: in some, overnight stays in a camper in public areas are forbidden, in others they are allowed.
Make sure you have enough gas, water and food for the trip.
